Just a grizzled greybeard, no one especially important. But, you can call me Byron, at least if you know me. Beyond that? I love all manner of sci-fi, fantasy, and horror tales. The Gothic especially appeals. Unlike most gamers, I didn't start out with D&D, but D6 Star Wars by West End Games. It's still a beloved title that I'd love to do things with again. Most of what I post here is from prior games, with the occasional mad idea I've had for potential games and fanzine articles.
My interest in video gaming has waned a bit, but I'm still fond of solid RPG experiences, as well as a fun mindless shooter or zany action game once in a while. Until recently, Sea of Thieves took up a fair bit of free time.
Been a "block head" most of my life, but I'm content with AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego). At some point, I might share ideas and creations with Lego here.
My taste in music widely varies, from upbeat jazz to dark wave to western swing to heavy metal to industrial hiphop. I suppose I'm more picky based on artists themselves. Though, I tend to favor groups from the '70s - early '00s.
I'm not just about indoor hobbies, hiking and birding has been a joy too. But, enough rambling about me...
